Daniella Smith, PhD is currently a faculty member at the University of North Texas in the College of Information. Dr. Smith is an experienced classroom teacher and has held positions as a school and public librarian. As an avid researcher and educator, she has published articles and delivered numerous presentations on issues related to the leadership development of school librarians, the information seeking behaviors of youth, diversity, and technology implementation in schools. She volunteers for numerous state, national, and international committees. She currently is an American Library Association Councilor At-Large and writes for the American Association of School Librarians’ Knowledge Quest blog.
